What are the best things to do in Gozo?

How do I get to Gozo from Malta?

Take the Gozo Channel car ferry from Ċirkewwa to Mġarr, which takes about 25 minutes and runs around the clock in summer, or the fast passenger ferry from Valletta, which takes about 45 minutes. You pay on the return leg from Gozo.

How many days do you need in Gozo?

A day trip covers Victoria, Ġgantija, Dwejra and one beach. Two or three nights let you slow down, cycle or walk the coast, and visit Comino from the Gozo side when it is quieter.

Is Gozo good for cycling?

Yes. Gozo is small, the roads between villages are quiet, and the coast is spectacular. The hills are real, which is exactly why eBikes work so well here. Our Gozo eBike routes guide lists the best loops.

Can you visit the Blue Lagoon from Gozo?

Yes. Boats leave Mġarr harbour and Ħondoq bay for Comino throughout the day in season. Leaving from Gozo means a shorter crossing and an easier time avoiding the mid-day crowds.
